I was surprised and pleased to hear that there are people interested in keeping up-to-date with what is going on with the Siems family.
This has been a pretty full month.
Going back to July, James and I rode the last two days of RAGBRAI. We started in Sigourney, IA and rode back to his house in North Liberty (78 miles). Then on Saturday we rode to Davenport (actually Moline, we took the bridge across the river, which ended up to be 83 miles). James loved it. So we are planning on doing the whole week next year. Maybe it will end up in Burlington.
Christy, KIerstin and Daniel came for a visit. Heather decided that they should do all the things a tourist would do if visiting the Galesburg area. It was a lot of fun seeing local sites, and taking in Wild Life Prairie Park near Peoria, The Pickers in Clinton, IA and the John Deere Exhibition Center in Moline.
We purchased a Winnebago Travato, which we named Trekker 2. Trekker for going on treks with it; because we have Trek bicycles; and the motor home is designed to sleep 2. Our first real trip was to Wisconsin Dells for the Siems family reunion (Trekker 2 is pictured at the campsite there).
